Girl up Club @Baton Rouge is a Club that supports the international UN Girl Up Campaign. This Campaign gives American girls the opportunity to channel their compassion to raise awareness of the issues that surround girls both locally and globally.
Girl Up Baton Rouge works to ensure girls have the opportunity to learn about relevant issues, develop leadership skills and become advocates for their girls around the world.
The organizational and leadership skills developed by girls who mobilize support for the campaign in their schools and communities also cultivate the necessary qualifications to become great candidates when they are ready to pursue employment and/or a higher education.
Essentially, Girl Up gives girls a platform to grow and foster the characteristics of well-rounded citizens.
